Monica Gallagher is a graphic designer during the daylight hours and a comicker at night. While an animation major in college, Monica first tiptoed onto the comics scene with her webcomic Gods & Undergrads, following the awkward adventures of a girl transitioning into college life while simultaneously discovering her connection to Greek gods.

Once her eyes had been opened to the online comics scene, Monica couldn't help herself and continued to produce more work. read more

Pensieri means "thoughts" in Italian and is the title of my handmade zine. Each copy is handmade and sewn into an envelope cover with a back pocket. Approximately 22 cm tall and 15 cm wide, around 30 pages long with a surprise in the back pocket! Issue 7 is all about getting your drawing and doodling skills out into the open. Founded in 1971 by a group of Los Angeles-based children's writers, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is a non-profit , 501 (c)3 organization which is  one of the largest existing organizations for writers and illustrators. It is the only professional organization specifically for those individuals writing and illustrating for children and young adults in the fields of children’s literature, magazines, film, television, and multimedia. Several of the most prestigious children’s literature professionals sit on the SCBWI Board of Advisors. read more

I am an artist, maker and quantum thinker living in Seattle. I make art using rudimentary cutting, pasting, stitching, printing and painting techniques. I earned a Graphic Design degree in 2007 but never found myself comfortable or satisfied with the design world, so I got the heck outta there and started over. read more

I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. Encouraged to pursue my love of art, I attended The Columbus College of Art and Design where I received my Bachelor's degree in Illustration. After having moved to the Northwest I began my illustration career with Kate Endle Illustration. This work has found its way into children's books and magazines, murals, stickers, corporate material, greeting cards and educational materials.

Location

I'm a comics inspired gentleman surrounded by toys and Chewbacca masks. I like drawing sharks and animals and creatures and daredevils and superheroes. Sometimes I combine all of them - sometimes they are on their own - it really depends on my mood.
