Eye wore my 1st pair of glasses at age 8. Eye WAS a "geeky" little 8 year old girl and eye see myself as her today. 
In my dreams sometimes eye don't wear my glasses...but eye know that they are always waiting 4 me on my nightstand. My drawings & manipulations are a refection of my life going back to when eye was that "4-eyed" 8 year old girl to current day. My name is Yvonne Wilson, self-taught artist & eye wear glasses.

My first experience with photography came very unexpectedly as a toddler in the early 1970's. 

Following a sense of curiosity that still gets me in trouble today, I got hold of the family camera and pressed the shutter release. When the flash went off, the result was was an incredibly overexposed self-portrait and much wailing and thrashing about, a tactic I still use when things don't go my way. read more

Cursive Art started as original paintings (which I still do from time to time) but became mostly a card shop when I wanted to find a way to get my art out there in a way that was affordable and useful and a bit original.

Thus, I started researching into way to make my own prints, and found out about linocuts. In no time, I was carving my first one and it's only gone from there. I actually love printmaking just as much as illustration (if not more) and it's become my main medium. I plan to teach myself screen printing at some point in the near future. read more

Scattergood is a collection of charming and whimsical collages paired with original prose. They are positive and uplifting and remind us to scattergood wherever we go. The line consists of prints, canvases, greeting cards, enclosure cards, magnets and postcards.
