I love anything and everything crafty, handmade, DIY, local. It all warms my heart so much. I also have a big love for anything vintage (like my avocado green Pyrex bake ware and odd ball shirts). I grew up surrounded by crafty, wholesome people, which is a big reflection of who I am today. My grandparents, parents and aunts were all big influences in my own craftiness and musical tastes I prefer today. Cursive Art started as original paintings (which I still do from time to time) but became mostly a card shop when I wanted to find a way to get my art out there in a way that was affordable and useful and a bit original.

Thus, I started researching into way to make my own prints, and found out about linocuts. In no time, I was carving my first one and it's only gone from there. I actually love printmaking just as much as illustration (if not more) and it's become my main medium. I plan to teach myself screen printing at some point in the near future. read more
