Hi! My name is Alice and this is my craft blog.  Most often you'll find me crocheting or knitting.  Less often I'll be embroidering, hand sewing, or using my sewing machine.  I like posting patterns and tutorials.  I love hearing from my visitors, so don't be shy!

Joining Granny Squares

When I join my Granny Squares together I always choose to crochet them rather than stitch them. Its just the way that appeals to me, although many of my hooking buddies prefer the stitching method. I guess it's a personal preference. And as many of you have asked me to supply this information, here you have it: my take on joining the Grannies, in usual Attic24 style with waaaaay too many pictures I suspect.

But hey, I want you to get it and not struggle with it, and I think pictures do the job better than words.

Carina's Craftblog: You can help me, but I'm a bit nervous asking you

I have a BIG birthday wish for me/this blog/you: I would love love love to be able to make video tutorials. But here's the rub: I haven't got a video camera. And seeing as that is a 'want' and not a 'need'... I can't justify getting one at the present time, unfortunately. But maybe, just maybe, you've got a couple of spare £'s to put towards a video camera?
