Why did you create Wix.com?
Like many people, we solved our own challenge. We wanted a way to make creating high quality Flash websites and other web content faster, easier and search engine friendly. And a few years on that's exactly what we're doing.

How is Wix built?
At the heart of Wix is our intuitive drag & drop editor where all the creating happens. Behind that our R&D team works with Flash and Flex. Wix.com itself is built using the Wix editor and our design team works hard to keep our engineers and programmers busy improving the capabilities - so you can make even more stunning Flash websites.

Is Wix search engine friendly:
Yes! All Wix websites are search engine friendly. Behind every Wix creation there is HTML code that search engine crawlers use to read your content and rank you in search engines. And you can manage your keywords, description and meta-tag information from Settings in the editor.
