Tako Fibers is run by Emily Rose Baier in Seattle, Washington. Inspired by "yarn art" from the 60's and 70's, these kits incorporate texture and color with fun, original illustrations. Tako is the Japanese word for "Octopus" and for "Kite." Emily is always doing 500 things at once, and wishes she had 8 arms to finish everything AND fly a kite. When she grows up, she and her husband plan to run away to a small Washington town to start an alpaca farm/artist co-op.
