Robot in Bloom is a design company that creates posh paper floral designs for all events. When owner and designer, Sandy Ervin was planning her own wedding in 2008, the standard option in the floral décor world was live flowers. After exploring various options, she found that she really desired longevity for such a special occasion - not something that would become yard waste in a landfill the next day.

Armed with trusty right-brained tendencies, Sandy ended up creating paper flower centerpieces, paper flower bouquets for her bridesmaids, and a mod Christmas ornament bouquet for herself.

Since then, Sandy has been honing her flower technique and making different types of blooms. The flowers are created from parchment, crepe, and tissue papers, and are highly customizable for any event. They can be formal or whimsical, simple or lavish, ready for a swanky LA event, or a down home Texas BBQ.

And, what's more, you don't have to toss out your memories at the end of the big day; they can become a home decoration, or even used again for another event. These paper blooms are appropriate for any occasion where one would normally expect flowers: weddings, parties, gifts, etc. By the flower or by the arrangement, you can choose from many styles of flowers— from classic white roses to playful turquoise poppies.
