ReWind Art Studios

ReWind Art Studios is a collaboration of sisters, Sheryl Goerke and Susan Smith, who create original 3D mixed media mosaics utilizing premium vintage and found objects. These cast-off objects are then recycled, re-purposed and finally re-imagined into unique works of art.

The sisters prefer to work utilizing “old school” mosaic methods, with tight grout lines and small, tightly placed pieces. The substrates (mosaic bases) are as varied as the pieces used for creating the mosaic effect and range from artist-designed wood bases to vintage objects, such as cast iron sewing machines, mannequins or an old dresser. The possibilities are as endless as the artists’ imagination.

Each piece is a unique, signed work of art, beautifully finished and display ready.
