While the year is still very young, and before you plan to blow away any previous online sales goals and fair goals, why not take a minute to re-evaluate your cost of goods sold and make sure you aren’t losing money on every sale you make?
Here are a few reasons to re-evaluate your cost of goods sold at the start of the year:
*You will be able to set a more accurate yearly budget
*Even if you have figured it before, the cost of your materials
may have risen over the last year
*You might deserve a raise!
*Your labor costs have risen because your product is in higher
demand
*You mis-calculated last year
*You simply forgot to add in the costs of things like Etsy fees
and PayPal fees
