Pacific Northwest Needle Arts Guild

The Pacific Northwest Needle Arts Guild was organized for educational purposes, to encourage individuals, without discrimination, to pursue knowledge in the needle arts and to raise and maintain standards of technique and design.Membership shall be open to all interested in the needle arts. Office Space: The Guild maintains an office in Seattle. This space is used to house the library, hold workshops, provide meeting space for various members’ interest groups, satellites, board meetings, etc. Three General Meetings each year feature a program or one day workshops of interest to members. Several workshops per year are taught by outstanding local, national and international teachers. Satellite Groups and Special Interest Groups meet monthly throughout Greater Seattle and the surrounding area. Fiber Shows: Each year we schedule an exhibition of the works of our members. In odd years the fiber show is nonjuried, and in even years it is juried. Newsletters: Ten newsletters are mailed per year. Extensive Needle Art Library is available for use by members including slide collections, and study boxes. Books may be purchased at a discount at the general meeting in May.
