Open Source Loom

The Open Source Loom project is about building a computerized super-loom for the people! Thread-controlled Jacquard looms are currently available commercially, but lead instigator Margarita Benitez wants to make the technology accessible to studio artists, classrooms, developing nations and more — in short, to everyone who could benefit from it.

The project is currently in the research and development phase, so come on by and support the open source loom — the super-technological loom for everyone!
