MissMalaprop.com is indie driven and community-minded. I believe in supporting small business, independent designers & artists, and people & organizations who are working to make the world a better place. I believe, whenever possible, in buying local, independently produced, handmade, sustainable, recycled, organic, fair-trade, environmentally-friendly products and services. I believe that one person can make a difference and that everyone can be that person.

I created the blog at MissMalaprop.com in August 2006 as a place for me to:

• Showcase unique, hand crafted and independently made products and small businesses
• Document my personal mission to live a more environmentally sustainable and socially responsible lifestyle
• Talk about what’s going on in New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast
• Showcase NOLA and Gulf South based artists and businesses

A limited amount of ad space is available to independent artists & eco-friendly businesses.

Artists are also encouraged to contact me for consideration for future blog posts. I do read each and every email sent my way, though I may not be able to respond immediately to all submissions.
