Etsy Shop Tools is getting off to a very exciting start. This has been an enormous project involving months of tireless code writing and I am delighted to finally share it with the Etsy community. I am very proud to be an Etsy shop owner and I feel that as a seller this application should enhance your Etsy experience tremendously.

I imagine that many of us are blog / website, and business owners. Being business minded people, we are always looking for more avenues to display our goods in increasingly creative models. Etsy Shop Tools enables you to create real-time galleries which automatically sync with your saved Etsy Shop Tools items.

This allows you to showcase items of your choice throughout the internet. From your personal gallery at etsyshoptools.com, grab a custom code snippet and embed your galleries in websites or blogs. The Megazine Gallery is especially good for product spreads to give a feeling of a magazine treasury.

Utilize Business Intelligence
Etsy Shop Tools allows a user to view shop hearts, favorite items, new item hearts, feedback, front page / gift guide features, and much more. With Shop Tools you can go an extra mile by tracking top-viewed items, and keep track of expirations with our expiration calendar. Knowing who likes your shop and what they like gives you a much better idea of your target market and also the overall scene that you sell in. Shop Tools also enables a gift guide as a launching pad for quick browsing into similar shops.

Make it Portable
I brought mobility to Etsy Shop Tools via the Etsy Shop Tools iPhone Application. All the same functionality of Etsy Shop Tools plus some bonus galleries specificially for the iPhone (just released 10/13/2009). With a powerful tool called showoff, an etsy shop owner can take a virtual portfolio of their shop with them on their iPhone wherever they go. Etsy Shop Tools also adds a bonus of adding items to your web galleries through your iPhone. Double bonus: Buy the iPhone app and you don't need to pay the $1 PayPal Registration Fee. And for you non-iPhone people: no worries. Etsy Shop Tools editions are in the works for Android and Palm....
