Though quite hipster-focused, this blog has great inspirational design and lots of diy, as well as a weekly "running your small business" feature.

I love Design Sponge! I actually have their biz ladies page bookmarked which contains tips for your business. Design Sponge has popped up several times for me on Google when I have been searching for items/ideas. They have some great write-ups!
 

Great resource however recently experiencing viewing problems. Hope it clears up!
