CC's One of a Kind came into being in the early 1990s creating one of a kind painted tee shirts.

After 28 years of service in public health I have retired and now create full time. 

Sewing and Cooking have always been my passions and in 2005 I combined these passions to sell Fiber Art Creations for the Kitchen at Grapevine Market on Main Street in Historic Grapevine, Texas held on Thursdays and Saturdays from mid April to mid October. I also set up at many other venues including community festivals, church bazaars, indie bazaars, "handmade/handcrafted only by the vendor" shows, local school craft shows and private showings.

My passion for color and pattern is evident in the cotton fabrics I choose for my creations. In my creating process I draw out my designs on brown paper, much like my grandmother did. I have the 2 aprons she made for me when I was 5 years old and was just learning to help my Mother in the kitchen.

I have sewn since I was 10 years old and still use a sewing machine my mother purchased for me, that was gently used at that time, when I was a teenager over 35 years ago. Mother then and now assists me in my creations whether it be advice or pinning fabric. I credit her and my grandmother with my sewing knowledge.
