Born in Portland, Oregon, my extended family is from Texas and Kansas and this is where I gain my inspiration from. I spent every summer growing up in the wheat fields of Kansas, and went to high school in Dallas. I traversed the countryside for many years while pursuing my dancing career, and performed with contemporary ballet companies throughout the north & midwest.

During this time, I dabbled in my crafts but was unable to fully explore my creativity in that form. After being in New York for about 2 years, I retired from dance, and started looking at what I would do in my next life?

Enter, BirdCraft (my nickname is "bird"). I am excited to be creating contemporary farmhouse-inspired pieces using vintage feedsacks, cotton novelty fabrics, and other natural goods.

My designs and voice are evolving, so please check back periodically for new items! I am also happy to make custom items to commemorate a special occasion or just because!
