üniimi is a place where you can find artisans for hire. After creating your account, simply post a new project request in Customize It! with a description of the item you want.
Our artisans will send you proposals with their estimates and you will have the option of choosing which artist you would like to work with.

I love the versatility of the site for both artists and customers. I have done both on this site.
As an artist, I have created a gallery which has given me a place to showcase my work. Even when I'm looking for freelance jobs on other sites, I always link back to my üniimi gallery for potential clients to be able to see examples of my past work. It's a great way for me to have my online portfolio all in one place. I love that the gallery is customizable and I can put my own style into it, not just have the same cookie-cutter site as everyone else has.
I also like looking on the custom requests for jobs I might be interested on bidding on. It was very easy to use and I love that pictures can be uploaded with the bids!
As a customer, I like the various ways I can look for an artist. I can browse the artists by their skill and read bios and look at galleries to see if there is a specific artist I want to work with. Or, I can put out a request on the Customize It area and have artists bid to create exactly what I need.
It's great to know if there's something I want that can't be found in a store, I have somewhere I can go to have someone make it. And I like being able to fill that same need for others with my own talents.
