San Diego, which is the US's 5th largest county by population is home to many unique and diverse artists and crafters.  With so many outlets for crafting, it is no wonder that creative people seem to come in droves to our great region.  Whether you are looking for a DIY night where you can make something like recycled bottlecap necklaces, a class on advanced art glass, or are looking to shop for unique and handcrafted gifts, San Diego will have something wonderful to offer.

The rich history and culture that San Diego offers, makes it stand apart from other regions.  The many wonderful museums and cultural centers allow new artists to look back to the past and also get insights from new and upcoming artists.  There are also many opportunities for those looking to get their craft out to others with many Farmer's Markets that feature handmade goodness and various festivals and street fairs that allow creators to display and sell their work.
