Lounges with rotating group art shows, frequent citywide art festivals, and musical events litter Jersey City's community calender. Handmade artists are finding a place amongst painters, musicians, and performance artists. The Jersey City Craft Mafia, founded in 2009, hosts annual community craft shows and indie business networking events. They seek to inspire alternacrafters to market and sell their creations and provide opportunities to show their work. Not Yo' Mama's Affairs organizes large scale arts and crafts selling events with live music, and is going into its third year. A Jersey City Etsy Street Team was recently founded to unite handmade sellers in Hudson County.
