Oil and Cotton opened in September 2010. Blending an appreciation of the past with current multidisciplinary art practices, our students are invited to engage in the expressive languages of both music and visual art.

Our hands-on classes are taught by professionals with knowledge of traditional and contemporary practice. We provide creative space for education, exhibition, performance and exchange between the public and the art community.

Founded in 1965, the CAC is dedicated to giving everyone the opportunity to explore their creative talents. Offering one of the largest professional studio-class programs in the city, CAC runs more than 500 classes for teens and adults each year in figurative and creative clay sculpture, ceramics, drawing, fused glass, jewelry, metal sculpture, mixed media, mosaic, painting, photography, printmaking and stone sculpture.

Since 2007, Etsy Dallas has hosted 7 wildly popular and successful independent art shows to supporters of the handmade movement all over the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The annual Jingle Bash and Spring Bash - Dallas' premiere handmade shopping events - are organized by Pamela Michelle and Tefi Designs and presented by Etsy Dallas, the Dallas-Fort Worth area's original local craft collective since 2007.
