Today, I thought I'd talk about free stuff because who doesn't love free stuff, right? This is about trading stuff, as a way to try out new products, experimenting with new product lines, advertising what you make and as a way to get new stuff that others make It's a win, win situation. There is no stress of wondering whether you'll be the winner of some contest - out of the hundreds that have entered. The catch, of course, is that you must trade something to get something, so it's not truly free. Why do it, then?

Today I thought I'd share with you my first book :) I've been wanting to make a book for awhile & so, when I saw the make a mini book swap on swap-bot, I thought I'd sign up. I like the way it turned out, though if I make more, I'll probably try some different techniques & bindings. This is truly a multi media piece, with crocheted pages, a bit of notebook paper, embroidery, stamping & even a bit of photography.  It only has only has 4 actual pages (not including the "journal" part), each saying something different & each in a different type/color of yarn, for lots of texture.
