I was milling about aimlessly in the Wallingford area of Seattle, WA when I found a yarn shop I didn't know existed: Bad Women Yarn. It's huge. And awesome. I got a pattern for the cutest leafy necklace/scarf-ish thing. But that's beside the point.
I also found out about an event I didn't even realize was happening: The 5th Annual Destination: Yarn. It's a tour of all the LYS (local yarn shops) in the Puget Sound. And if you're like I am, you're thinking -- yeah, well, how many can that really be? 25. Yes, there are at least 25 yarn shops in the Puget Sound area.
