If you want your blog to help promote your craft business, or connect you to book deals and freelance design jobs, you need a blog that's consistently interesting and valuable.

Your blog is one of the most important business-generating tools you have. It's like a living resume - it shows other people what you're good at, and that you can consistently meet deadlines and produce results.

It used to be that we bloggers could sit down at the computer and write about whatever came into our minds. But today, the blogosphere is extremely crowded. If you want your blog to stand out in this crowd, it's important to think more like a magazine editor than a diarist.
