Curate a List of Resources

If you want to get all Super User on us, you’ll need to start curating lists of resources.

First, visit the form to submit a list or any page in the Lists Section.

Click on the “Curate a List” button on the right side of the screen.

Now, name your list and add some comma-separated tags that describe what your list is all about.

You have the option of adding a picture.

Add a description of your list. Maybe it’s the 10 best resources you’ve found about Twitter. Maybe it’s a step by step introduction to the wonders of social networking. Maybe it’s a list of craft shows in your areas. Whatever it is – describe it here.

Now, just add your resources. If you start typing any word that appears in the title of the resource you want to list, a dropdown menu with every resource that has those words in the title will appear. Choose yours from the list.

For more advanced options, click on the buttons to the right of the resource field.

The first button allows you to view the resource in a new window (you have to select a resource before the button is active). The second button will open a new window where you can search for resources and select them. The + button will allow you to create a new resource on-the-fly if you would like to reference something that isn't currently listed on Unanimous Craft.

You can add two resources at once, but if you want to add more than that to your list, just click on the “Add another item” button.

You can search for resources and add multiple items at once by clicking on this button (right next to the "Add another item" button:

A new window will open where you can choose from any resources currently on Unanimous Craft. You can sort the list by title or author of the resource by clicking on the column header. Select your resources by clicking on them and then click "Save".

You will be returned to your list entry. And the last step is to click the "Save". button on this screen as well.

Voila! You have created a list of resources that will be shared with everyone. We like you.

If you ever want to edit your list, just visit "my account" at the top of the page and you can see a list of all the content you have submitted to the site. Click the "edit" button and make any changes you would like.
