Regional Craftologist Duties and Benefits
Regional Craftologists are crafty reporters who work a beat in their neighborhood. They tell us all about local crafty shops, places that might buy your handmade goods wholesale, supply shops, the best thrift stores, crafty classes, local craft shows - the works! If you have some crafty love to share about your local area, apply to be a Regional Craftologist.
Regions are limited - only one Regional Craftologist will be accepted for each area. Ensure that you are the crafty voice for your locals by applying to become a Regional Craftologist today.
What You Get From Unanimous Craft
- Your profile picture will be prominently displayed on your region page. A banner is added to your profile picture that tells the world that you are an official Regional Craftologist. Hot.
- Free advertising for your own projects on your region page.
- An introductory interview on the main Unanimous Craft blog about yourself and your crafty projects.
- You have the authority (although you're not required) to sell ads on your region page. You receive 50% of any ad sales on your region page. Only ads for local businesses and events will be displayed on your region page.
- Add one resource to the Unanimous Craft database each week.
- Write one blog post minimum each week.
- Create one list of local crafty resources each month.
- Add your region tag to existing resources. Search for new resources added to Unanimous Craft by others each month.
- Post links to your lists, blog posts or local resources on social networking sites each week.
- Promote your region page on Craigslist, Etsy forums and other crafty sites once per month (while abiding by the rules of each site).
- Currently the RSS feed for the blog subscribes people to ALL blog posts. Shortly users will be able to subscribe to the RSS for a single region
- Facebook Fan Pages for each region
