I am an artist, maker and quantum thinker living in Seattle. I make art using rudimentary cutting, pasting, stitching, printing and painting techniques. I earned a Graphic Design degree in 2007 but never found myself comfortable or satisfied with the design world, so I got the heck outta there and started over. read more

I adore meticulous lines and attention to natural details, which probably comes from my farm life childhood and all those hours romping around the orchards and fields closely inspecting the plants and animals around me on a daily basis. I also love sparse-yet-dense color and design, which probably stems from my urban adulthood spent in new york, at parsons school of design, and San Francisco, at California College of the Arts. read more

It all started in the early 1990's; I made stained glass earrings and my stepdad came up with the name Ear Rigs which I thought was cute, rigging creations for your ears. Years later, I grew tired of the confusion with 'earwigs'--my least favorite insect. In 2000, when Kirk and I bought a kiln to teach ourselves to fuse glass, our studio was in the stairwell of our apartment. Our baby got glass slivers in his crawling knees, and we knew it was time to leave our yellow formica countertops and dark green pile carpet for a house of our own. read more

I have always loved taking photographs, and now I’m pushing myself into the next phase of selling and producing beautiful photography. I have 2 main cameras, a canon dslr and a Diana F+ film camera. My deep roots (and education are in architecture and design) thus allowing me to transfer my two loves into one.
