We use fresh and dried herbs, sea water from our local ocean, plant resins and oils. Our vibe is old-world-traveling-gypsy with a modern twist. Coco Howard started Softlife in 2007 as an umbrella company for her various artistic endeavors. Under the moniker Softlife, she makes plush creatures, engages in amateur photography, creates needle felted wall hangings, sculpture, and installations, and teaches creature-making classes in elementry and middle schools in the Seattle area.

Coco currently resides in Seattle with her three children and husband, Spencer Moody, all of whom are devoted to fighting the soft fight every day.

Jewelry's been a passion of mine all of my life and in 2006 I turned my hobby into a business. Encouraged by family and friends, Idle Hands Designs was formed. While in school I discovered that I love working with metal, particularly silver. Once I had the basics, my style came from experimenting and exploring different possibilities.
