Founded in 1971 by a group of Los Angeles-based children's writers, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is a non-profit , 501 (c)3 organization which is  one of the largest existing organizations for writers and illustrators. It is the only professional organization specifically for those individuals writing and illustrating for children and young adults in the fields of children’s literature, magazines, film, television, and multimedia. Several of the most prestigious children’s literature professionals sit on the SCBWI Board of Advisors. read more

Frankie Magazine is a national bi-monthly based in Australia, aimed at women (and men) looking for a magazine that’s as smart, funny, sarcastic, friendly, cute, rude, arty, curious and caring as they are.

We cover design, art, photography, fashion, travel, music, craft, interiors and real-life stories – we aim to surprise and delight readers with every turn of our beautifully matte pages, and have a good old laugh while doing so.

DudeCraft represents a different kind of tribe in the world of making things, intentionally blurring the lines between, art, craft, engineering, and the good old “Can Do” spirit. Makers of all stripes are welcome here and are encouraged to join the conversation, no matter what their enthusiasms.

Guys who knit, girls who weld, it’s all the same on DudeCraft. We are people who make cool stuff, have an urge to share it, and don’t mind explaining how we did it, so that other folks can benefit from our experience. read more

This event is a first-of-its-kind and has never been done in a Super Bowl host city. TURF will take place in Indianapolis January 14 through February 5 (Super Bowl Sunday). A private kickoff gala will officially “open” the IDADA Art Pavilion January 13th. It will open to the public January 14th. TURF will culminate with the First Friday gallery tour February 3, the Friday before Super Bowl Sunday. read more

The Our Craft handmade showcase has been created as a central place for designers and makers to submit and promote their wonderful handmade work.

We too are handmade artists and get so excited when we make something new, we want to show the world! We love the idea of having a single place to showcase newly made items for all to see (and not have to pay for the pleasure). So we thought we’ll create that place ourselves and the Our Craft handmade showcase was born. read more
