Founded in 1971 by a group of Los Angeles-based children's writers, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is a non-profit , 501 (c)3 organization which is  one of the largest existing organizations for writers and illustrators. It is the only professional organization specifically for those individuals writing and illustrating for children and young adults in the fields of children’s literature, magazines, film, television, and multimedia. Several of the most prestigious children’s literature professionals sit on the SCBWI Board of Advisors. read more

TURF -- IDADA Art Pavilion at the Super Bowl

This event is a first-of-its-kind and has never been done in a Super Bowl host city. TURF will take place in Indianapolis January 14 through February 5 (Super Bowl Sunday). A private kickoff gala will officially “open” the IDADA Art Pavilion January 13th. It will open to the public January 14th. TURF will culminate with the First Friday gallery tour February 3, the Friday before Super Bowl Sunday. read more

The St. Louis Craft Mafia is proud to announce the 3rd Green with Indie, an eco-friendly indie art & craft show featuring over sixty handmade artists, vintage treasures, and more.

Participating artists’ merchandise will be earth-friendly, salvaged, upcycled, recycled, homegrown, homemade, revamped, or refurbished.  We believe that there is nothing more earth-friendly than creativity!
