Art vs. Craft is an annual fair in held each November in Milwaukee, established in 2004 by local artist Faythe Levine. The event brings together a diverse range of makers who sell their handmade goods direct to the public. Since 2004, Art vs. Craft has drawn over 13,000 shoppers and hosted over 450 different vendors from Wisconsin and Chicago but as far away as New York, Florida, California and Seattle.

Art vs. Craft is a juried event that features both emerging and established makers working in traditional and non-traditional mediums. You will find unique clothing, jewelry, ceramics, household items, toys, stationary, soaps, handbags, stuffed animals, paintings, prints, ornaments and the unimaginable. The event provides an opportunity to avoid mass-produced goods by purchasing items directly from the creative source. Our goal to to urge shoppers to buy handmade for the holidays.
