Upcoming Indie Fairs in (and around) Indiana

The INDIEana Handicraft Exchange, Bloomington Handmade Market, and Crafty Supermarket are three favorite indie fairs for artists and crafters in Central Indiana. Applications for all these fairs will be opening soon and if you want to attend one of these fairs as a vendor, you’ll want to make sure you get your complete application in on time. The Bloomington Handmade Market, located at the convention center in Bloomington, Indiana, which is about an hour south of Indianapolis, will be held this spring on April 2nd. Applications for the BHM went live on January 24th. The INDIEana Handicraft Exchange (IHE) is the largest craft fair featuring modern handmade goods in Indianapolis. The IHE features over 100 vendors and is held at the Harrison Center for the Arts. Vendors are located both inside on two levels and outside around the building. The summer IHE will take place from 12pm – 8pm on Saturday, June 11th, and applications for this event juried event will open about February 1st. Crafty Supermarket, though not located in Indiana is favorite show of many Indianapolis vendors. Crafty Supermarket takes place is Cincinnati, OH. Cincinnati is about an hour and a half drive south east of Indianapolis. The next Crafty Supermarket will be held on May 7th at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center. Applications for Crafty Supermarket open on February 1st for this one, too.
