Upcoming Art and Craft Fairs in Indianapolis

June in Indianapolis means that finally summer has arrived and so has the craft and art fair season. Those who love to shop for art and craft are ready to welcome it with open arms as they head out to 3 of the most popular art and craft events of the year.

On June 4th, the 11th annual 54th and Monon art fair will take place. The fair welcomes more than 60 local artists and over 4,500 attendees for a day of shopping, kid's activities, and all you can eat free hotdogs and lemonade! The fair takes place along 54th street in the parking lots of Thwarp Awning, Reese Kitchens, and the 54th and Monon shops. Even though there will be free hotdogs, I highly suggest you make time to eat at Zest! It is one of the best restaurants in Indy and was recently featured on the Food Network!

On June 11th and 12th, the 56th Annual Talbot Street Art Fair will kick off its festivities at 10am each day. Talbot Street features over 270 artists from across the country and is consistently ranked as one of the best juried art fairs in the nation. Stretching for over 4 city blocks, this is an event any fine arts lover would hate to miss.

The most highly-anticipated indie craft event of the year takes place on June 11th this year at the Harrison Center for the Arts in conjunction with the  Indianapolis Music and Arts Fest. The Indieana Handicraft Exchange features over 100 indie crafters and artists selling everything from housewares to silk-screen posters and tees, to bath and body products and jewelry.

The Indieana Handicraft Exchange is one day only and runs from 12pm-8pm. On June 11, the first 50 patrons to come to the Yelp table outside will receive a FREE swag bag filled with IHE merchandise, treats from vendors and exclusive discount deals from specific booths available only on the day of the event, plus raffle tickets!
