Ocean Beach Farmers Market
With Spring upon us and Summer right around the corner, many artisans and crafters are looking for venues to sell their work. One type of venue that is growing in popularity with crafters are Farmers Markets.
San Diego County is home to many Farmers Markets, and many of them feature not only homegrown foods and produce, but handmade crafters and artisans are likely to be found as well.
In Ocean Beach, every Wednesday, from 4pm-7pm (4pm-8pm in summer months) on the 4900 block of Newport Avenue, you will find one such Farmer's Market. Strolling through this Farmers Market reminds me of a street fair. There are vendors, crafters, artisans, TONS of great food, and often you can find performers as well!
If you sell handmade goods and are interested in applying for this market, the best way to do so is to visit at least once and request an application at the information booth. You can also visit the website for the Market here to download a Vendor application:

I always suggest that vendors do visit a potential market or show prior to applying, just to be sure it is the right fit for your products.
