Knitting Classes at Mass Ave Wine Shoppe
How do you plan to get through the rest of this winter? Why not take a knitting class!
Classes are returning to Mass Ave Wine Shoppe in February! Classes will take place on Saturday February 26th and March 5th and 26th at 4:30pm at Mass Ave Wine Shoppe, 878 Mass Ave, Indianapolis, 46204 (it's on the East End of Mass Ave).
Classes are designed to help beginners learn to knit and to help advanced knitters learn new techniques. Patterns are provided for each week of the class, and lots of free yarn is available for the taking. Everyone is encouraged to purchase their own knitting needles, but needles will be available to borrow during class time (sorry but you’ll have to give them back after class is over!).
What can you expect to learn in this class?
Learn the basics of knitting such as how to cast on, cast off, knit, purl, change colors, knit cables, knit in the round and much more! Patterns will be provided each week for both beginner and more advanced knitters and I will be there for the entire hour and a half to teach newbies, or assist the seasoned knitter in a new challenge.
Over the first two months we will learn how to make a scarf, a hat, and a pair of wrist warmers to get us through the rest of the winter! Classes cost $15 each and include a 1.5 hour group knitting lesson (with one on one help as needed) and, probably best of all, a glass of the wine of your choice! Be sure to bring a few extra bucks to enjoy one of the delicious snacks, soups, or sandwiches available at Mass Ave Wine Shoppe!
See you the 26th of February!
