Guest Post by Samsstuff: My First Book

Today I thought I'd share with you my first book :) I've been wanting to make a book for awhile & so, when I saw the make a mini book swap on swap-bot, I thought I'd sign up. I like the way it turned out, though if I make more, I'll probably try some different techniques & bindings. This is truly a multi media piece, with crocheted pages, a bit of notebook paper, embroidery, stamping & even a bit of photography.  It only has only has 4 actual pages (not including the "journal" part), each saying something different & each in a different type/color of yarn, for lots of texture.

I had fun & I want to explore making more little books :) How about you? Have you tried anything new recently?

* Sorry about the blur in some of the shots, they were quick shots to document the book before sending it away, so I wouldn't forget what I did.
