Craft Shows for Midwest Peeps: A New Page on Facebook

Those of us who live in Indiana are pretty darn lucky. We are a manageable drive from many cities including the likes of Chicago, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Nashville. This makes us all very willing to hit the road for a well-organized craft fair. We are also a really hospitable group of folks, willing to share our knowledge with one another and that is why one of our smartest Midwest cookies, Candice Hartsough McDonald of Cordial Kitten  created the Facebook page, “Craft Shows for Midwest Peeps.”

This Facebook page is Indiana centered so if you live to far from Indianapolis, it might not totally benefit you because of driving distances, but, in addition to sharing knowledge about when and where the shows are, there’s also going to be lots of information about how the shows are so you don’t waste time applying to something that may not be worth the trip!

In Candice’s words, the page was made because, “I always have a hard time remembering what shows to apply for, and am timid about applying for shows I've never done before. Here we can pool our information, and try to help each other remember when applications are due!” Candice, you rock!

This page is only a couple of weeks old, but new shows are being added regularly to the discussion tab. If you live in Indiana and you don’t know what shows to apply to, this new Facebook page would be a great place to start! Be sure to check out Craft Shows for Midwest Peeps.
