Adding a Resource

With your official membership comes great responsibility. You must now share all your knowledge with your fellow crafty peoples.

To begin, visit the Create a Resource Form or any page in the Resources section.

Add your own resources to the site – like your Etsy shop, your blog, your Facebook fan page. You can also add any other resources you use to make your crafty life a little easier – like handy tools, articles, inspirational blogs, your favorite craft show website – they will all be much appreciated by the Unanimous Craft community.

Click on the “Submit a Resource” button that appeared on the right side of the screen after you created your user account.

Enter the name of the resource, and add the city and state where it is located (optional).

Choose the Resource Type and the Main Topic of your resource from the dropdown menus. It should be pretty obvious which ones you should choose, but don’t worry about making a mistake – I verify the accuracy of every posting so I’ll edit them if needed.

In the “Tags” section, add a comma separated list of words that describe your resource.

Add an image. I recommend taking a screen shot of part of the website. Your image will automatically be resized so you can upload anything between 250x250px and 1000x1000px and it will be accepted. Or leave this blank and I’ll fill it in when I review your resource submission.

Add a description of the resource. I normally visit the “About” page of the resource so I’m sure that what I’m adding is accurate.

Now, add the URL of the resource in this format: http://www.google.com.

Now just click the “Save” button and you’re all done. Easy peasy.
