What is Unanimous Craft?
Unanimous Craft is a directory of resources for crafters, artists and indie business owners. I submit my favorite resources and welcome the community to do the same. It's kind of like Yelp for the crafty community.
Once you are a member (it's free!) you can submit listings for your Etsy shop, blog, Facebook Fan Page, Twitter -- along with great blog posts that you stumble across and other websites you visit on a regular basis. Then, you can rate (1-5 hearts) and review resources listed on the site. You can also curate lists of your favorite resources - or those that have a common theme and then share them with friends.
You know those huge lists of links in the Etsy forums -- well now you can create those same kinds of lists on Unanimous Craft and they will be organized and archived. Neat.
If you own one of the resources listed, complete this form and we'll upgrade your account so you can write news updates with the latest, greatest news about your resource.
If you are a crafty expert in your area, consider becoming a Regional Craftologist. You will be assigned a territory and you'll have your own space on Unanimous Craft where you'll report on the world of craft from your vantage point. Apply now.

Why I Did It
I was inspired to build Unanimous Craft after seeing a huge list of links to different resources that The House of Mouse posted in the Etsy forums. I wanted to make a tool that our community could use to get organized and share information. The site launched in March, 2010 with about 100 resources that were featured in Handmade Nation by Faythe Levine and Courtney Heimerl. The rest of the resources have been created by our community.
About Me
I am a waterproof Shower Art maker, stand-up comedian and blogger who is currently obsessed with German board games, Bikram yoga and embroidery. I run bARTer Sauce, an experiment in trading for art and odd objects. I also launched Unanimous Craft - a directory of resources for Indie Business.

EtsySaver is a website where Etsy shop owners can post coupon codes for sales in their Etsy shops. The shop owners get increased publicity for their shops and sales. Customers visit the EtsySaver site before shopping on Etsy to see what bargains they can find. It's win-win.

We're no dictators. They are made out of rubber and have weird things encased inside of them along with weird phrases. They're unique. They're weird. Not everyone "gets" it.
